Easter

I know, it's already April and I'm just now getting to Easter!! This Easter was a lot of fun! Nathan likes to hunt eggs and see what's inside them! He especially loved the ones w/ M&M's. We had our MOMS club egg hunt on the Friday before Easter. We had a cook-out, egg hunt, cookie decorating craft, and a bunny mask craft. The weather was perfect! It was a lot of fun! On Saturday, some of the kids in our neighborhood came over and hid Easter eggs for Nathan, which he loved!

Easter Sunday Nathan got up and couldn't wait to see what the Easter Bunny brought him! He got a basketful of goodies, including a little John Deere dump truck and a bowling set, which included a bowling ball AND the pins (they were made of a very soft material). The Easter Bunny did good! LOL We went to church and then ate at a Japanese restaurant. This was Nathan's first experience at a hibachi grill/table. He LOVED it! He wanted the cook to keep making the fire and the little volcano out of onions. He had a lot of fun there!

This was also the weekend my mom was really sick and in the hospital. She ended up having her gall bladder removed and is doing much better now. We went over to Alabama that afternoon to be with my mom and family. She was having the surgery on Monday and we wanted to see her before the surgery. And, I hated the fact that she was in the hospital on Easter! She loves to watch the kids hunt eggs.
